Christiane Mauro, L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist specializing in fertility, women's health, pregnancy and labor. Christiane earned a Masters of Science of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York. She has been in private practice since 2004, practiced as a doula for 11 years and works with obstetricians, gynecologists, midwives, reproductive endocrinologists and hospitals in the New York area. Trained in Western bio-medicine, pathophysiology and nutrition counseling, Christiane practices Tai ji, QI Gong and Zheng Gu Tui Na (orthopedic massage) and incorporates these techniques into her treatment plans. In her private practice, Christiane’s goal is to help couples with fertility issues have successful pregnancies through minimally invasive procedures.
